The Duality of Life
Roya often contrasts her inner world with the outer world everyone else sees. That juxtaposition is achieved deftly through the amalgamation of a multi-faceted character of self.

Roya first joined the cryptoart revolution 1325 days ago so is no stranger to the world of minted art. A featured artist in the MINTED book the first introduction to her line work.
Roya refers to her art practice as one that conveys freedom and powerful emotions. The symbolic forms of freedom are clear to see through the wings of butterfly, the free flowing hair and the often cosmically arranged portraits.
"She never looked away. Tears streaming down her cheek, filling the dark places inside with the blood of the mother. Flowers grow here, deep inside her heart. Her eyes wide open, pierce through the veil and fixate on the horizon. She knows where she is going, she knows who she is, she asks not for permission and lives beyond regrets. Look into her depths, what do you see?"
The search for identity through who we know ourselves to be versus how others perceive us are in constant dialogue in Roya’s work. Some of her most powerful work is represented through what is not shown.
In ‘A Warrior’s Soul’ the subject is cut in half and a memorial flower placed in lieu of the full human experience, hands covering her face.

Immense Vulnerability
The female form is turned into a political instrument where the viewer is forced to deal with the beauty of natural form lost to imposing elements of sorrow and pain. That combination is what shifts Roya’s work beyond mere form into the kind of work that sparks movements.
