The Artist: DocT
DocT’s creative inspiration began with journalistic writing and shifted towards photojournalism while stationed in the Middle East as part of his medical studies. DocT self prescribes making art as a way to handle the day job as a Doctor helping kids. Shades of yellow keep appearing across the 17 collections DocT has released to date. He asks the viewer to decide whether the yellow you are seeing is one of joy and happiness or warning and caution.

FU#K YOU MONEY is a statement about the power of wealth to liberate – or corrupt. A man raises his middle finger in unapologetic defiance, set against a bright yellow backdrop, while a stream of dollar bills pours endlessly from his open mouth — a twisted cycle of excess. The raw, unapologetic imagery captures the attitude that money enables you to ignore societal expectations and live on your own terms.
