Skull theory is an early digital artwork of the artist known as Obscure. True to form, to find this 1/1 you’ll need to hop on over to the somewhat obscure Kalamint marketplace. You’ll need Tez currency to collect the art you most desire there.
“Hey I’m obscure, a multimedia obscurist. I make audio reactive particle systems and line systems. I’ve been in NFTs since December 2020.”
More recently Obscure released the 1/1 titled ‘Nicholas Caged‘ with the soundscape created by Soundwavesphotn. Like many works that aren’t on OpenSea, the price in Tez is far more approachable and in my view represents excellent value.
Ok moving on the Linebow, a Rainbow made from lines!
“Linebow is a continuation of the style found in my Line Ape Club collection” according to Obscure.
If you prefer your art to roam the waves of OpenSea then Obscure gets a little less obscure with the sold out Line Ape Club so far. 33 released of a total of 100 line apes with a new drop expected in the first week of October 2021.
I know I know… we all love the apes, but really I’d suggest spreading your wings a little further across to lesser known platforms like Kalamint. There’s a pot of gold at the end of the marketplace rainbow if you’re willing to setup a wallet that accepts Tez (Temple) and transfer across some eth into Tez. I’ve posted a video on how to do this on Twitter.
If this article has made you curious about getting started with digital art, we also run the Digital Artist Economy workshop helping artists create their first digital art through a three week programme. Share it with an artist you’d like to see on an NFT marketplace.
MintFace surfaces great artists and artworks so you don’t have to.
