The first three words that popped into my head the first time the heat rushed through the doors as I entered a digital market bazaar for the first time.

So much colour. So much noise. So many foreign digital currencies and numbers that signaled something to someone. To me, only three steps into this new world… I felt a feeling of digital culture shock. The last time I felt this way was picking up Twitter in 2009…. foreign, adrift and confused at what the norms were around here.

If you’re feeling the same about the world of digital art, you’re not alone. There are resources…and you don’t have to learn it all on your own.

The important thing is you’ve started the journey. It’s early. You’re early.

If this article has made you curious about getting started with digital art, we also run the Digital Artist Economy workshop helping artists create their first digital art through a three week programme. Share it with an artist you’d like to see on an NFT marketplace.
