Diamond hands means holding your NFT’s or digital currency forever….or at the very least, a long long time. Back in the normie world, diamonds remain the artifact of jewellers dressing us up to ask the question of a lifetime.

Enter GregHollandJewel.eth, the first diamond jeweller in New Zealand minting real diamond ice on the blockchain. Aqua Glacier is an 1:1 NFT that includes 4.63 carats worth of diamonds set on the Aqua Glacier ring for 4 eth.

Aqua Glacier 1:1 is an IRL diamond ring available to purchase on OpenSea

Why does the blockchain provenance matter? It gives the buyer more than a signed certificate of authenticity. After all, signatures can be forged and certificates can be reprinted. The buyer of his first diamond ring with provenance can do things a certificate doesn’t including:

1) provide a way for insurers to independently reference the asset.
2) prove the purchase price for valuation purposes.

Of course there’s also the cool factor of having a timestamped piece of jewellery. Aqua Glacier was minted on October 20th 2021 at 10:58 pm.

Greg is inspired by New Zealand’s pristine environment and treats the NFT Twitter community to some of the views he’s been inspired by every gm.

On purchase the diamond ring is shipped in a sealed presentation box to any destination in Australasia, Japan, United Kingdom, Europe, USA and Canada with some the proceeds going to support NFT artists and some to the New Zealand ‘Make A Wish’ Foundation.
