Cryptoarte by Seb Broucher
Cryptoarte by Seb Broucher pre-dates Autoglyphs. For the historical NFT fans, this matters. The first article MintFace first wrote on Cryptoarte was way back in August 5th 2021 wen the collection of 10,000 generative artworks had yet to mint out.
The artist is Sebastián Brocher, an Ethereum enthusiast and a technology entrepreneur with an artistic mind. When he was about 6 years of age, his Dad brought home a Commodore 128 computer and helped him code a program that played a J.S. Bach invention by following the instructions manual.
Collection Highlights
Look for Cryptoarte paintings with Prime Numbers. There are only 1,220 of those. 2018 mints that pre-date Autoglyphs also command a premium. For the super committed you search through Cryptoarte works and find a ‘Golden Miner’ position that suits your taste.
Pink represents a busier Ethereum blockchain network. There are far fewer pink Cryptoarte paintings in the collection because of the early nature of the Ethereum blockchain. Most are a combination of blues and greens. Orange represents a busy day mining blocks and the red cells represent a very busy block. Each miner gets their own unique signature included in the block and the artist has been diligent at listing how many different miners contributed to the generative artwork through their mining efforts.
Commercial Rights
All of the Cryptoarte paintings come with commercial rights which means you can commercially resell digital or physical products and services that include the artwork. MintFace added the Cryptoarte #4971 to the back cover of MINTED book as an example.
